Διεθνής Τιμητική Διάκριση στον Καθηγητή Θεοδόσιο Τάσιο

Κατά την διάρκεια του εαρινού Συνεδρίου της IABSE (της Διεθνούς Ένωσης Μηχανικών Γεφυρών και Δομικών Έργων), που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Ρότερνταμ από 6-8 Μαΐου, η Εκτελεστική Επιτροπή της IABSE, αξιολογώντας τις προτάσεις των Εθνικών Tμημάτων μελών της IABSE, αποφάσισε να απονείμει το διεθνές βραβείο:

«The International Award of Merit in Structural Engineering»
στον Καθηγητή κο Θεοδόσιο Τάσιο.

Το βραβείο αυτό αποτελεί μια διεθνή αναγνώριση του Καθηγητού Τάσιου τόσο για τη μακρόχρονη, πολύπλευρη και ιδιαίτερα σημαντική συμβολή του στην εξέλιξη της Δομοστατικής Μηχανικής από τις θέσεις του Καθηγητού, του Ερευνητού και του Μηχανικού της Εφαρμογής, όσο και για τις Κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα παράλληλες δράσεις του.

Το Ελληνικό Τμήμα της IABSE, αισθάνεται ιδιαίτερη ικανοποίηση, για την αποδοχή της πρότασής του και θεωρεί ότι η επιβράβευση αυτή προβάλλει τιμητικώς, τόσο την Ελλάδα όσο και τους Έλληνες Μηχανικούς διεθνώς.


Η απονομή του βραβείου θα γίνει κατά την διάρκεια του ετήσιου Συνεδρίου της ΙΑΒSE, τον Σεπτέμβριο, από τον Πρόεδρο της ΙΑΒSE Predrag L. Popovic.

Joint Minisymposium
